On behalf of the Booster Club, welcome to the 2010 – 2011 athletic season.

I want to say a special thanks to everyone in the Jackson Prep family and to the local community of sponsors that are supporting the Jackson Prep Booster Club. The Booster Club exists to support the coaching staff and student athletes in accomplishing their goals. Prep parents are the backbone of the Booster Club; I strongly encourage everyone to become a member and get involved. We do things for the school that are above and beyond what Jackson Prep is already doing through the athletic department. Working in the concession stand, attending athletic events and supporting your coaches are just a few ways you can help.

The Booster Club strives to continue the level of excellence that is a tradition at Prep, and without the financial contributions and the volunteering of your time, we could not continue to support our school, coaches, players and students.

The Booster Club provides our students and coaches the means to achieve their goals and to push the limits of their abilities. We provide all types of equipment to enable the coaches to instruct the athletes in achieving their full potential. We also support the spirit teams which helps them continue their level of excellence.

The Media Guide is an important project for the Booster Club, and I would like to thank Will Crosby, Jackson Prep Athletic Director, Trudy McLaurin athletic secretary, Larry King and our student-athlete sales force who have contributed their time and energy to make this project successful. As you review these pages, take note of the many advertisers and show them your appreciation by supporting their businesses.

I am thankful for all the support from the administration, parents and grandparents who offer encouragement and a special thanks to Bobby Dye, Past President, for your leadership and guidance during the past year.
