Becky has taught for thirty-seven years in public, private and parochial schools both in Mississippi and Georgia. She earned her bachelor's and master's degrees from Mississippi State University and has done post graduate work at Millsaps, Mississippi College, and Sewanee. She and her husband are the parents of two grown children and are grandparents of two boys.

Personal Statement:

I am a teacher because God called me to teach. I give thanks to Him each day for the opportunity to be a small part of the lives of young people. I take this responsibility very seriously and I pray that my words and actions will be an example to my students.
