I came into teaching relatively late in life. After
graduating from Case Tech in 1964 I worked for General Motors
for 12 years. I was in Warren, Ohio most of that time, but had
a 4-month stay in Ireland.
After a year as plant manager at Ohio nuclear in Solon,
Ohio I moved to Mississippi and ran a company in Anguilla for four years.
In the 1980’s I owned a tennis club, took education courses and became
certified to teach. I taught a year in St. Petersburg, Florida and later
bought a Dairy Queen franchise in Jackson.
Finally in 1988 I interviewed for a job at Prep and began
here in August. I knew this was the best job I had ever had and I have
thoroughly enjoyed my years here. I look forward to many more!
