Julia
Grant - Executive Assistant
Julia is beginning her seventh year at Jackson Prep, where she is the Executive Assistant to the Head of School.
In 1974 she received her Bachelor of Science degree in library science from Mississippi State University. Upon graduation, she was librarian for Warren Central High School in Vicksburg for three years. In 1978 Julia took a position in the Utilization Department of the Education Division at Mississippi ETV. After three years in the Education Division, she was the educational consultant for research and production of "Edit Point", a television series teaching writing skills to junior high students.
Julia is married to John S. Grant III, a Rankin County Chancery Court Judge. Her children, John Grant IV and Annalissa Grant, are Prep graduates. John is a freshman law school student at the University of Mississippi, and Annalissa is a freshman at Mississippi State University.
