Lain Hughes - Social Studies Chair

Lain Hughes is a 1989 graduate of Jackson Prep, where he was involved with The Sentry, speech and debate, and drama. He is a 1993 graduate of the University of Mississippi with bachelor's degrees in history and political science. He teaches U.S. History and Advanced Placement U.S. History. He is the sponsor of The Sentry and the chair of the social studies department. Hughes has taught at Prep for ten years.
