Sandy is a twenty seven year teacher with Mississippi State Certification in biology, general science, gifted education and English. She has taught at Jackson Prep 13 years in junior high science and is a Millsaps graduate. She is co-sponsor of the National Junior Honor Society.

Sandy’s interests are family, interior design, travel and cars. Sandy and her husband Gary have bred and raised quarter horses, as well as almost every type animal that the ark contained!

When Gary was active in the Air Force, the family traveled to many areas in the Far East and the United States. They lived on the Gulf Coast for seventeen years and both their children, Tori and Clay, were raised there. Tori and Clay also graduated from Millsaps. Gary and Sandy are the proud grandparents of Stella Emmaline.
