Zere Ezaz received his B.S. degree from Haile
Selassie I University in Ethiopia, a M.S. in animal science and
reproductive physiology from New Mexico State University, and
his PhD in agriculture/reproductive physiology from the University
of Wales. He is currently completing a M.S. in biology and environmental
science from Jackson State University. Dr. Ezaz spent more than
fifteen years teaching and conducting research in the fields of
anatomy, physiology, genetics, microbiology, parasitological,
biology and physiology in Ethiopia and Eritrea, East Africa. He
has worked as adjunct professor in microbiology at Hinds Community
College and professor and agricultural projects coordinator for
Piney Woods School. In his spare time, Dr. Ezaz has visited all
the continents except Australia. His wife, Mebrat, is employed
in the development office at Millsaps College. His sons are Prep
graduates. Currently Aron is a senior at the University of Mississippi
and Ghideon is a student at Washington University in St. Louis,
Missouri. Betel is a sophomore at Prep. Dr. Ezaz joins our staff
as a tenth grade biology teacher.
