The Junior High Counseling program at Jackson Preparatory School was founded on the tenet that each individual has value, dignity, and worth and that guidance should be available to assist each student in realizing his or her full potential. Junior high counselors Maret Watson (Girls) and Lee Ozier (Boys) are available to assist both individual students and parents with any academic concerns and school-related issues.

Parents are encouraged to communicate with teachers. Individual teachers can be reached by email or voice mail. Faculty school email addresses and voice mail numbers are listed in the school directory. Should a parent need to schedule a conference with more than one teacher, the counselors are also available to schedule parent/teacher conferences.

Maret’s and Lee’s offices are located in the Junior High Office. Maret is available from 8 a.m. until noon Monday through Friday. Lee is available 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. on the same days.
