Families looking for quality education often look at the independent school setting. Independent schools offer definite benefits: small classes, excellent teaching, close student-teacher relationships, and a sense of family involvement. Such a quality education requires commitment from the school, the students, and the parents. The comparative value of a Prep education is widely acknowledged to be unsurpassed.

INITIAL EXPENSE
For families entering Prep for the first time, membership in the Jackson Preparatory School Foundation is a prerequisite for enrollment. Each family is required to hold one membership. The membership is a one-time, non-refundable expense per family and covers all children in the family eligible to attend Jackson Prep. Foundation Membership for 2008-09 school year $1500.00

Yearly Payment Plan (7th-12th)	$9,600 Payable by June 10, 2008
Yearly Payment Plan (6th grade)	$8,600 Payable by June 10, 2008
Semiannual Payment Plan (7th-12th)	$4,800 Payable by June 10, 2008 and December 10, 2008
Semiannual Payment Plan (6th grade)	$4,300 Payable by June 10, 2008 and December 10, 2008
12-Month Payment Plan (7th-12th)	(Bank draft is required if the 12 month payment plan is selected) $800 Monthly payments beginning June 10, 2008
12-Month Payment Plan (6th grade)	(Bank draft is required if the 12 month payment plan is selected) $716.67 Monthly payments beginning June 10, 2008
Enrollment Fee	ENROLLMENT FEE: The Enrollment Fee is nonrefundable and nontransferable. Student registered BY February 1, 2008 (contract and payment received).......$630* Student registered AFTER February 1, 2008 and BEFORE April 1, 2008..................$750 Students registered AFTER April 1, 2008 will be charged an additional $20 per month up to...................................................$850 * Students registered by February 1, 2008, may pay the Enrollment Fee in two installments of $315. The first payment must be received with contract by February 1, 2008, and the second must be received by March 1, 2008. If the second payment is received after March 1, 2008, the student’s account will be charged an additional $120. New students from outside of Hinds, Madison, and Rankin counties shall pay the $630 enrollment fee regardless of registration date.
Books	Books are purchased at the beginning of the school year. The cost will vary depending upon course selection. Books may be resold at the end of the year.

Tuition for the 2009-2010 school year will be set in December, 2008. Check back for updated information.
