| The eighth season of the Jackson Prep summer Alumni Basketball League is upon us, so sign up today. Games will be played on Tuesday evenings this year, beginning Tuesday, June 2. The 8 game regular season will run through Tuesday July 21, followed by playoffs through July 30 (everyone plays at least 1 playoff game). You play at either 6,7,8, or 9 each week.
WE ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO MAKE AS MANY GAMES AS POSSIBLE BECAUSE WE ONLY PUT 8 PLAYERS ON EVERY TEAM. ADDITIONALLY, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE PREP LEAGUE REVERSIBLE JERSEY.
Sign up deadline for this year is Monday, May 18. The league cutoff is 112 players. Once we hit that number, we won’t add anyone else until we can form 2 more full teams (16 players). If that happens, the league will be full.
Everyone needs a jersey. So either wear one you already have or order a new one. The League costs $60 if you need a jersey and $40 if you don’t. Checks will be payable to Anthony Sherman, and we’ll collect your entry fee before the season starts. Bring Payment to the first game.
Teams are created through a draft. After the draft you will be emailed the team you are on and a schedule. Before the first game you must pay the league fee in order to play.
