On behalf of the Jackson Prep Athletic Booster Club, I would like to thank our sponsors and the Jackson Prep families for your continued support as you make it possible for us to provide the necessary assistance to our school, coaches, players, and students. Your participation with your contributions and the giving of your time provide critical assistance to our school, coaches, players, and students and enables everyone to help Prep to be the best that it can be. Our goal is not only to continue the level of excellence that we have here at Prep but also to be sure that each student who participates in athletics and spirit teams is given the opportunity to better themselves as they prepare for life after high school.
The financial support you give to your Booster Club provides equipment and training above and beyond those provided by the school through the Athletic Department. Our coaches and sponsors are better able to do their job as they work to help our students to achieve the success that they desire. If your child is on an athletic or spirit team, I highly encourage you to become a Booster Club member as our goal is to have 100% participation of parents. In addition to financial support, other ways you can support your Booster Club is working in the concession stands, attending athletic events, purchasing merchandise, and supporting your coaches. The Media Guide is a major project of the Jackson Prep Athletic Booster Club. It provides detailed information on all of our teams to media outlets as well as supporters. This project could not happen without the help of Will Crosby, Trudy McLaurin, Tonquin Stovall, Finney Moore, Harvey Dallas Printing, and the student sales team. Your contributions to this effort are greatly appreciated. Please be sure to show the advertisers in the Media Guide your appreciation by supporting their businesses and telling them thank you.
I want to personally thank Larry King for serving last year as president of the Booster Club. He put in many hours of hard work, and because of his dedication, our teams were able to achieve great success.
Also, thanks for the support from the administration, parents, and grandparents. Without your support and encouragement, we could not do all that needs to be done.
Finally, I want to thank the coaches who are dedicated to not only helping our students win games but most importantly how to win in life. I can remember just some of the games that I played growing up, but I do remember each and every one of my coaches and the influence that they had on me. You as coaches are making a huge difference in our student’s lives, and we sincerely appreciate it.
I am looking forward to working with all of you this year, and together, we can build on the tradition of excellence and make this coming year one to remember at Jackson Prep.
