What is
Service Club?
Jackson Prep Service Club is an
organization for ALL students in grades 10-12. Our club promotes volunteerism and provides
committed service to our school and community. Members receive opportunities for leadership
development, to participate in ongoing service projects, to learn more about
our community and to become more involved by helping others. If you love the rewards of lending a helping
hand, this club is for you!
Membership
Requirements
These must be done
during the school year.
Includes the 10 for Service Club Sponsored
Projects. The remaining 20 hours can be any volunteer hours that meet the
criteria for a Community Service Award listed on page 8 of the Student Handbook and are done
Failure to turn-in
documentation of hours to Mrs. Varner is the same as not having done them!
Service Club Sponsored
Projects:
Requirements: application, orientation
attendance and TB test.
Volunteers must be 16 years or older.
There will also be some special
events/parties.
The organization places volunteers, and there
is an extensive application process.
